This or that spellings- boys?

It's always better to go with the traditional spelling. It just saves a lot of hassle. It's a pain to have to correct pronunciations and spellings for your whole life just because your parents had to try to be unique and use an unusual spelling. If the traditional spelling is from another country i'd go with that rather than whatever the american equivalent is.
