What items do I need to fish on piers and on the beach in Hilton head south Carolina . I'm 15 years old.?

I am on my way to Hilton head and want to fish really bad. But don't know what I need an the items to buy . I just started fishing an I have an ok poll and 15 pound test line . I need hooks and stuff. I just want to catch something not to hard to catch and want to have fun. I've been fishing in ponds but never in a ocean. I have no idea and I'm arriving tomorrow . Please help !!!
