Fun things to do in Coney Island?

Brooklyn has many things to do, for example if you enjoy art but don't want to spent time in the Largest art museum in America ( the Met) you can go to the Brooklyn Museum of art it is tourist friendly and while there you can stroll through the Botanical Gardens. Grand is to Brooklyn what Madison Ave is to Manhattan (just don't expect such High Tone stores like FAO Schwartz you are more likely to find a toys r us) Coney Island on the southen tip of Brooklyn has just that Nathan's Hot Dogs and a Beach / Amusement area.
