Charities for the mentally handicapped?

My cousin passed away a few days ago. She was severely mentally handicapped, and growing up with her inspired her brother to work with the mentally handicapped as a career. I wanted to make a donation for my remaining cousin in her name, to a care facility or an advocacy group that helps the mentally disabled., Any suggestions?
