Can't get internet connection on my ipod touch; HELP!?

First of all check all of your settings and make sure every single Wireless connection is shown. This should quite easily be found in your iPod Settings section. If this doesn't work it is possible that your router is too strong and needs a fair distance before a signal can be read from the iPod. This is unlikely however and should be a problem to do with your settings either on your iPod or on the router itself.
